Siniat GIB X-block® is a lead-free plasterboard system for X-ray radiation protection. The board contains barium sulphate, which forms the barrier against X-rays, and its matching jointing compound gives lead-equivalent joints, so walls and ceilings provide an even level of protection across the whole surface. The system also delivers high sound insulation performance.

Siniat GIB X-block® is used in X-ray and diagnostic imaging rooms in medical, dental and veterinary clinics. It’s mainly used for walls and operator barriers, and can also line ceilings. It installs and joints like standard plasterboard, avoiding the complex installation that comes with lead-lined linings.
